What is the duration for the warranty after purchase?

Hi, my FR 235 is now freezing once plugged to charger. After losing its whole battery it defreezes somehow, but still lags. I contacted Garmin who can't solve it and say its the retailer that should do it. For how long does the warranty apply?

    I think that nobody can answer how long is a warranty for your device. Warranty is held by your retailer and I think it was written on the proof of your purchase. But it is not possible to apply a guarantee held by your retailer to another company. And if the device is bought abbroad, its warranty is not covered by another country's legislation.
